FindHotel are building the world's best metasearch, distributing hotel price comparison offers to millions of visitors across the world. We already operate some of the leading hotel comparison sites in markets as diverse as Taiwan, Israel and Sweden, under the brand name Find Hotel.
We have just turned 6 and, starting from our baseline of 2M+ monthly visitors from all over the world, we are working to build the best hotel metasearch experience.

I was warned about "Dutch directness" before I moved here. Hailing from the Midwest US, where we're polite to a fault, I wasn't sure how I'd adapt to such matter-of-factness. As it turns out, it's been one of things I've appreciated the most about working at Findhotel, helping me grow as a product owner in ways I would have never guessed. I can always count on my colleagues to give completely honest, thoughtful feedback and ask the tough questions, which means I'm constantly learning from their insights.
The funny thing is, only a few of us are even Dutch! We come from so many different countries and backgrounds, I've lost count. But we all embrace the benefits of good old-fashioned Dutch sincerity. No matter our role, we're all giving each other checks and course-corrections as needed (fail fast, learn, repeat), and as a result, we just get stuff done.
With a culture of openness, creativity follows naturally. It makes every day interesting, but it's also balanced with a healthy dose of pragmatism. We're a forward-thinking bunch, but our decisions are grounded in data and reason.
With so many startups in town, it's easy to be dazzled by the perks. Don't get me wrong, we have those too, and they're pretty great (did someone say craft beer on-tap?). But what I really value here are the genuine, intelligent people I work with and the culture they create. And that culture is something all the ping pong tables and all the bean bag chairs in the world couldn't buy.

When I first arrived to Amsterdam, I was almost overwhelmed by the huge amount of startups desperately trying to build something new using some cool technology as the main driver. At the same time, most of them lacked two of the main characteristics to make it in the long run: a robust vision and the people with the right mindset to achieve big goals. FindHotel had both, and that's what got me in!
Among all the others, my favourite reason to work at FindHotel is the chance to take ownership of what you do, being able to make a tangible impact. Nobody will tell you how to do something, it's up to you and your team to "make it happen".
Alongside the relaxed environment, the startup-like mindset makes it possible to focus on what matters and to be flexible enough to adapt to change (because change is the only thing you can be sure of).
Last but not least we face big challenges, and we tackle them with our data-driven approach and solid technological solutions, while striving for automation any time it makes sense.
